Charlie & Serena
We are Charlie & Serena, the founders of Everseen Africa.
We turned our lives upside down to live our dream, and now our purpose is to make yours come true by creating the most beautiful safari of your life.
Our adventure
“Our adventure began five years ago, when I (Charlie) was still a professional rugby player in Italy and I met Serena, who became my wife a few years later.
When Serena first arrived in South Africa, she immediately fell in love with this land and managed to show me a beauty without equal—one that, being born in South Africa, I had always taken for granted.
We traveled throughout South Africa, discovering its beauty, its history, and its challenges.
While visiting several animal rehabilitation centers and meeting many people along our journey, we developed a deep passion for rhino conservation and became ambassadors for the largest rhino orphanage in South Africa, Care for Wild. Through our “Super Project 2019,” we donated 1 million rand to support their work.
Our mission is to share the beauty of these lands with as many people as possible and to raise awareness about poaching and how we can help save and protect these lands.
We pursue this goal every day through Instagram, the platform we have chosen to communicate with our community.
We work with lodges that we have personally selected, whose values align with our ethical vision of travel.
The sustainability of the properties, their social impact, and their support of the local communities that host us are the key criteria for being part of our portfolio.
Today, our goals have become even more ambitious: we have expanded our horizons and now offer journeys not only in South Africa, but also in Namibia, Tanzania, and Zambia.
We have become a point of reference for many travelers who wish to experience Africa uniquely and specially.
Our market is international, with followers from all over the world, including Italy, the United States, France, Germany, Russia, Australia, New Zealand, Switzerland, and more.
Over the years, we have developed our skills, becoming professional guides, photographers, and video operators.
Our photographs have been published twice in the Kruger National Park Magazine.
We have spent the last seven years of our lives documenting wildlife, guiding our guests on safari, and inspiring everyone who follows us to fall in love with Africa.”
